Los Cinco | Strategic Development Strategy Session

“Los Cinco” (“The Five”) are a core advancement team comprised of La Cosecha’s leadership: Jenica Brigham, Founder and CEO, Magnolia Gaerlan, Chief Relationship Officer, and three volunteers: Sarah Dawber, Chief Creative Officer; Gregory Boyer, PhD, Community Designer, and Larry Johnston, PhD, Board Chair.

In January the team met for a strategic planning session. With the aim of going beyond strategic planning to the development and implementation of a strategic management system, four seminar-workshops were conducted over a period of several days. The meeting and subsequent work produced a corporate strategy map and a Stage One Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Work continues on building out La Cosecha’s planning and management systems, website, case for support, software integration, research, and fundraising plans.
